Robin Maynard-Dobbs
After struggling many years with compulsive overeating followed by intense exercise, I now live in balance and peace with my body. Food is no longer an issue for me and I can get on with my life’s work, which is to help women change, heal their issues with food, and come home to their bodies. I bring my artistic passion and soulful commitment to my coaching work with you. Since 1991, I have been helping women to overcome obesssion through mindfulness, connection to spirit, body awareness and creativitiy. I bring over 15 years of experience as a licensed facilitator of Eating Awareness Training (EAT). I am also a certified BodyWay personal coach and certified Hypnotherapist and in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). Inspired by a lifelong meditation practice, I teach others to look inside themselves for the wisdom they seek. I know of no other work in the eating disorder field that touches so deeply all aspects of our being: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. The Bodyway program that Jane Latimer teaches outlines practical steps that integrate our spiritual essence into our everyday life. I am honored to share in her vision and passionate desire to help all women attain full recovery. Robin is available for individual consultation by calling 206-789-1764 or by .

Here’s what others have said about Robin’s teaching:“Robin, you are so delightfully and rigorously appreciative and positive about people’s attempts and trials! Thank you for your model of a positive way of being, for your energy, for your enthusiasm, and for holding a space of love and possibility for all of us. I’m so grateful!” “From the sense of “real live” support with the classes, I got a “gut level” understanding of the concepts. Robin and the other students were so open and honest about your experiences, I found it very moving and I felt honored to be there.”
“Robin lends a sense of calm, reassurance and hope to the group, with the emphasis on being gentle with yourself. all things which I think this group of women deeply need.”
