Is This For You?

If you deal with any of the following issues, we can help.

You are sick of dieting. You know that diets don’t work and you want to eat like a “normal eater.” Despite attempts to eat when you’re hungry and stop when satisfied, you feel unsure of yourself and your relationship to food really isn’t changing the way you’d like.

You just want to lose a few pounds. Despite happiness in other areas of your life, you continuously struggle with your weight. You believe that if you can just lose a few pounds your life will be good and you will feel good about yourself.

Childhood issues causing eating problems. Despite years of therapy and understanding that your family of origin had major problems that are now causing an ongoing insecurity that is causing you to overeat, you are at your wits end because you still don’t know what to do to help yourself.

Struggling with an eating disorder. You’ve been struggling with an eating disorder for a long time, been in and out of hospital treatment, and have been seeing a therapist for the past couple of years. You’ve learned a lot about yourself and have even seen quite a bit of growth and positive change but something still isn’t working.

Not in a body that reflects the real you. Your friends and partner love you just the way you are but you know that you aren’t living in a body that reflects the true you. You know that you are capable of being so much happier, if only you could lose a few more pounds.

Dieting not working. You’ve dieted umpteenth times before but you always seem to gain it back and more. You’ve heard that “diets don’t work” but thought you could make it work for you. Now, because of years of dieting you can’t stand the thought of going on another one, despite the fact that once again you’ve gained an extra few pounds. You know that this incessant cycle of weight loss and gain has to stop.

Been to a nutritionist. You have found the perfect way of eating that works for you most of the time! But you can’t seem to stay on it all of the time and you just don’t know why.

Negative mind. You feel discouraged and frustrated because no matter what you do you can’t erase the negative self-judgment, and sometimes crazy feelings that occupy your mind.
