Jane E. Latimer, Founder
I want my gut-wrenching
life-transforming
experiences to help you.
Having had a debilitating eating disorder for over twenty years, a major turning point in my early twenties led me to a path of healing which has resulted in over thirty years of successful freedom from food struggle. For the next thirty years I helped countless women with food and body-image issues feel more hopeful, turn their lives around and become free of their struggles, too. Expanding the deep transformation-driven processes used in those programs, I am now excited to build programs that help women with a wide spectrum of self-sabotaging challenges experience the same life-changing results.
As an artist, entrepreneur, mother, healer and world traveler I am passionate about empowering women to be free to love their lives, have more fun and express themselves fearlessly. BodyWay provides a perfect format in which to synthesize my passion for entrepreneurial creative innovation, healing and the pioneering spirit.
On a Professional Note:
Educated at Hunter College and Regis University, my academic background spans areas of transpersonal and humanistic psychology, expressive arts and mind-body therapies. As I grew professionally, I developed programs for women with eating disorders and went on to extract the essence of that work for all women who tend to stifle, inhibit and block their true expression.
I have authored two books, Living Binge-Free and Beyond the Food Game, and founded the Aliveness Institute (offering workshops, professional trainings, and coaching programs) and BodyWay (a year-long online program) as well as authored numerous audiotapes and workbooks.
Today, I offer online programs, as well as personal intensives, private sessions (in person or over the phone) and retreats.
